Directions to print to the library laser printer from PC laptops
1. Connect to the “maroon” network
2. Open Internet Explorer
3. Log into network
4. Open the Printers folder (click Start, select Settings, and select Printers).
5. Run the Add Printer wizard (double-click Add Printer), then click Next.
6. Select the option for a network printer and click Next.
7. Select Connect to a printer on the Internet
• type the following address in the URL box: http://10.10.10.10/ipp/port1
• click Next.
8. You will be prompted for a printer driver (the HP Jetdirect print server does not contain printer drivers, so your system cannot automatically obtain the driver).
• Choose HP LaserJet 4100 Series PCL printer.
• Click OK to install the printer driver onto your system and follow the instructions on the screen. (You may need to download the driver.)
9. To complete the print path setup, follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: After logging off of the “maroon” network, the printer is only available again by repeating steps 1, 2 and 3 again. The remaining steps do not need to be repeated.

3. Go to System Preferences
4. Open "Print & Fax" application
5. Go to "hardware"
6. Click on the + button at the bottom of the list of printers
7. Make sure "IP" is selected on the top tool bar
8. Set protocol to IPP
9. In the address box type 10.10.10.10
• HP LaserJet 4100 Series PCL printer should appear as a wireless printer.
