Recognized among his peers for his dynamic leadership, Brent Rippentrop became a leading executive at Deere & Company over three decades, holding a diverse array of senior-management positions. An expert in the areas of marketing, finance, and business development, Brent Rippentrop most recently served in the position of Vice President of Marketing for John Deere Credit.
In this capacity, Brent Rippentrop leveraged a 100-person staff and a $20-million budget toward a number of successful operational changes, significantly improving John Deere Credit’s position in a crowded marketplace. Some of the many impressive initiatives Brent Rippentrop implemented while serving as Vice President of Marketing for John Deere Credit included the establishment of a direct marketing “center of excellence,” which became the core of the company’s North American direct marketing efforts. Through his team's direct marketing efforts, Brent Rippentrop generated more than $200 million in annual incremental sales.
Before he became Vice President of Marketing for John Deere Credit, Brent Rippentrop held the position of Director of Market Development for Sunstate Equipment Company, a construction equipment rental company partially owned by Deere & Company. In this role, Brent Rippentrop oversaw business development and marketing efforts for Sunstate. During his tenure with Sunstate, Brent Rippentrop spearheaded the establishment of over 30 new “green start” stores over a 3-year span, effectively expanding market coverage from 3 states to 8 and quadrupling revenues. Prior to becoming Director of Market Development, Brent Rippentrop served as Director of Rental Marketing for the Construction & Forestry Division.
Now that he is retired, Brent Rippentrop hopes to spend his spare time pursuing his numerous hobbies, including golf, reading, and participating in church activities. Brent Rippentrop currently resides in Waukee, Iowa with his wife and family.
