This website is being developed for the users of the Central Medical Library (CMB) of the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). Nurses (in education) of the UMCG are the main target group. But anyone can use the modules on this Netvibes Universe. Obviously does not everybody have access to our electronic resources.
You can call this website a "Toolbox" and it's an example of how users could arrange their tools and resources in one personal startpage. Because of its almost unlimited possibilities the CMB advices to use Netvibes for this. You can use everything: search modules, the News items (RSS), Journals Tables of Content, Podcasts, video's presentations, etc.
Netvibes is a kind of an online personal 'desktop' published on the web for sharing modules and even tabs with relevant usefull content. Make one at: http://www.netvibes.com and drag all the content you want into your own personal webpage!
