Margarita is a researcher in education science, working with MENON Network EEIG in Brussels, Belgium. She has been working in the field of education for 15 years in all levels from primary through secondary to higher education. She has coordinated several projects on digital identity and reputation, user-centric implementation of Europass ePortfolio, online job search user behaviour, social directories, social technologies in education and ePortfolios. She also works in the field of learning difficulties, in particular school performance and early school leaving. She coordinates MUVEnation : an European programme for training teachers in the use of virtual worlds for education. And she also participates in two other research projects about MUVEs and education: OpenHabitat and LLL3D. Her current research interests are the collection and analysis of teaching experiences in virtual worlds through narrative inquiry.
