Welcome to Team Knowledge Update, a service from Shrewsbury and Telford Health Libraries to help you keep up to date with new healthcare knowledge.

Each page contains the latest news, via RSS, from relevant journals, NHS Evidence Specialist Collections and other sources.

Shrewsbury and Telford Health Libraries comprise the Shrewsbury Health Library at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and the Telford Health Library at the Princess Royal Hospital. Together we exist to enable local healthcare staff and students to access the knowledge base of healthcare to improve clinical practice and aid their education, training and personal development.

Items from feeds marked in green are freely available or are available by using your NHS Athens account. You may need to click on 'Log in with Athens' to get an Athens login box.

If you don't have an NHS Athens account, you can register online, and if you do this on an NHS PC, you'll receive a confirmation email the same day.

Accessing books

More details about new books can be found in the Shropshire Health Libraries Catalogue at www.shelib.nhs.uk.

You can use your library barcode and password (ask us if you don't know what this is) to login and reserve items, whether they be on loan or on the shelf at any of the four Shropshire Health Libraries (some restrictions may apply).
