Y5 Wiki Project

In Year 5 we will be working together on a project known as a "wiki" to complete reviews for the award winning books we have been reading.  Go to http://srisprimarylibrary.wikispaces.com/ to find out what we will be doing.

Book Awards

Below are details of some of the major awards for Children's literature in the USA and UK along with details of some of the award winning books we have in our Primary Library.  Many of the awards also give "Honor" medals or "Silver" Medals.  Check out the websites and see what other great books are available.  How many Prize Winning books have you read?  Do you know of other awards given in different countries?

If you get really interested in Book Awards, take a look at the Database of Award Winning Children's Literature website, http://www.dawcl.com/search.asp.  There you can search through 84 different award types from English speaking countries across the world.
