Book Week was held in March at the Primary campus. The focus of the week was all about reading and books.
Our Book Dragon was a fantastic success. Many students offered several recommendations of books they enjoyed. The Dragon will stay up until the end of the term so that we can all get some new ideas for books to read.
Students from the Y5/6 Library monitor group gave three excellent performances of "The Gruffalo" for the entire Primary School.
The teachers favourite book competition went very well with 4 students getting 23 out of 25 correct..
The Book Fair was another resounding success, with parents, teachers and students choosing from the wide array of books available from our three excellent vendors. The libraries at both campuses have also got some new books as a result so everyone is very happy.
Lots of students and staff dressed on the Friday and the slide show alongside shows some of the brilliant costumes seen around the school.
Prize winners for the Library competitions and Creative Writing competitions were announced and awarded at Assembly on the last day of term.
