CPYU Website

Founded in 1990 by Walt Mueller, the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding (CPYU) is a nonprofit organization committed to building strong families by serving to bridge the cultural-generational gap between parents and teenagers. 

What is set out below are links to the CPYU website that in turn have a list of links to resources we can use for a variety of culture and media research.  Walt collects websites, blogs and other tools to help us see where we are as Christians in an ever changing cultural landscape.  I've heard Walt speak, and he is a passionate man trying to understand (and help us understand) the times we live in.  Check this out for good data.

New CALENDAR-Notes and Helps Tab

We've added a CALENDAR under the Notes and Helps Tab which will keep you up to date on things in Lexington and other locations.  The dates for the Monday night Bible study at the Sawyer's and the dates for the Starving Student Tuesday meals (also at the Sawyer Youth Hostel) are listed.  Check the calendar for dates and locations of speakers who may be in the area, church events and general information.  If you have something you'd like to add to the calendar, just drop us an email.

Gmail Information

We've added a stand-alone Gmail email site to the Sword and Trowel (TSAT) to help you find email updates from a number of good websites.  Click on the email title to link directly to the mail site.  You'll need to do this if someone before you has already read the latest email update.  Once there, browse through the email just like you would your own email account to see what's going on.  The following is a list of the updates we are tracking:
